With the crazy world right now and Winter being not far away and bringing the flu season with it, I thought now may be a good time to share some tips to a healthy immune system.
Our immune systems do an awesome job protecting and defending us against disease causing microorganisms. Germs get into our bodies sometimes and can make us unwell, but with the help of some healthy living strategies we can guard ourselves.
Every part of our body including our immune system functions better when it's protected against toxins and helped out by healthy living.
Healthy Immune System Checklist
Don't smoke
Eat a balanced diet, high in fruits and veggies
Exercise often
Maintain a healthy weight
If you drink alcohol, drink in moderation
Get enough sleep
Practice good hygiene
Minimize stress
Healthy Eating checklist
Include lean protein in each meal
Include healthy fats in each meal
Eat loads of fruit and veggies every day
Eat more nutrient dense whole foods
Eat less processed foods and sugar
Drink less alcohol
Drink 8 glasses of water a day
